Climate Equity Policy Center
The Climate Equity Policy Center is an organization dedicated to supporting the development and adoption of climate policies that advance fair, healthy, and equitable communities.
My design is a stained glass inspired, hand drawn, more organic version of their original logo. Using color inspired by the brand’s existing shade of blue and Berkeley, CA style painted homes.
Markforged
This rapidly growing metal 3D printing company came to us with a brand new look. As Markforged geared up for their IPO, it was up to our team to implement and expand this visual design system.
Display ads in HTML5 created with Figma and Adobe Animate.
Google Assistant
One of the perks of being embedded at Google is getting to work on one-off internal projects.
Google gamifies their cross-team education by awarding email signature badges that illustrate products/teams an individual has learned about.
The molecular pattern in the background represents the interconnected nature of Google teams while nodding to the purpose of the badge.
French Tuesdays
If you’re into sipping champagne at a club on a Tuesday night then I’ve got the spot for you. We designed monthly themed events using performances and props (and shots) to elevate brand-customer engagement.
Silicon Valley Sports League
8 weeks - 40 tech companies - all nerds. I was the architect for a sports league that helped Silicon Valley determine offline supremacy on the weekends.
things and stuff
I like to dabble in HTML, CSS, Javascript and Bootstrap; I’m still very much a beginner. After spending hours trying to figure out how to get Adobe After Effects or Animate to give me a decent looking .gif at the min file size (not a motion designer either), I remembered there are ways to create simple, lightweight animations with code.
Some quick Googling lead me to animated sprite sheets, which led me to this blog post, resulting in some of the images you see on this page.
